Former interim UFC lightweight champion Justin Gaethje has expressed his contempt for the promotion’s top welterweight Colby Covington, while praising his fighting qualities.

Recall that in early November, Covington will hold a rematch with the current champion of 170-pound Kamaru Usman at the UFC 268 tournament, trying to get even for an unfortunate defeat in their last fight. At the same event, Gaethje will return to the Octagon to compete with compatriot Michael Candlerto confirm his claim to the lightweight division title, which is now held by Brazilian Charles Oliveira.

“I really don’t like Colby, so I want to see Kamaru really finish him. But this little ueb**ok is a good fighter. As a person, he’s shit, but as a fighter he’s really good,” Gaethje told ESPN’s Brett Ocamoto.
