Islam Makhachev is knocking on the door of a UFC lightweight title shot after another dominant performance.

In the main event of UFC Fight Night 202, Makhachev made it look easy against short-notice replacement opponent Bobby Green, who filled in after Beneil Dariush suffered an injury. The fight didn’t get out of the first round as Makhachev dominated virtually every second of the short contest.

Afterward, the Dagestani grappling beast made it known that he wants a title shot next, believing his 10-fight win streak speaks for itself. If he does get his wish, that means he’ll be looking at the winner of Charles Oliveira vs. Justin Gaethje, which is set to take place at UFC 274.

The question here is which matchup would be more favorable to Makhachev, and why? Should he actually be favored?

In the video above, our panel of Mike Bohn, Danny Segura, and Brian “Goze” Garcia discuss this topic along with host “Gorgeous” George Garcia.
